Came here for the carnival! it was mad, everywhere is a bar! prices bit more for that i heard tho.

The Chop, i.e. almost a pint is R$1.50, in piounds it's 35p per pint!!!

We have a lot of beers here. The most famous are: Skol, Brahma, Antarctica and Itaipava They are good and can be foud everywhere. R$2,50 (£0,6) We have some great beers wich you must know: Bohemia, Baden Baden, Original and Devassa (Ale, Black and Regular) From R$3,50 to R$7,00 (£0,9 - £1.7) We also have foreign beers in some bars, pubs and supermakets: Paulaner, Erdinger, Kronenburg, Heineken, Deus, Carlsberg and Newcastle Brown are some of them. From R$5 to R$16 (£1,2 - £3.9) DO NOT DRINK: Kaiser, Lokal, Cintra and Bavaria.

Anywhere you can find cold beer for less than a quid. You´ll only pay this price if you go to an Irish pub or something. Guinness is available, for £ 4, average.
