The hotel in which the bar that used to serve beer for 17 Riyals has been demolished. The next cheapest as far as I know is in the bar at the Ramada. It is easily possible to get a liquor licence and buy alcohol for personal home consumption

Most star hotels serve alcohol in bars with limited entry rules. A pint would serve for 6-8USD. Sale and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited outside these Govt. licenced bars, and patrons are required to be on their best behaviour after a visit.

Thats the lowest price you will pay in a bar for pint. a case of lager at the booze shop will set you back 20 notes and cheapest bottle of wine is 6 notes

Average price for a pint is 35 QAR or about $10.50 USD. You can find cheaper. A case of Budweiser at teh liquor store is about 120 QAR or $35 USD. Almost all hotels have a bar. No booze in most of the restaurants though. So, say goodbye to a wine with dinner unless you're at a hotel.

Tell us about the beer/ the city beer prices in doha are 30 ryals a pint and the only place i know is the ramada hotel where you have to register with the hotel which costs 105 ryals you will get a card and that also gives you 1 free drink

the number of bars/clubs have increased recently but so seems to have the price.. a pint would set you back approx 10$... most bars seem to feature a lot of old and tired lokking chinese pros, so prepare to be ambushed by them while u drink...
