A lot of good beer is brewed in the the southwestern part of Germany. One of the most famous pilsner beers in the region would be Rothaus Tannezäpfle from the Black Forest, as well as Waldhaus Diplom Pils. Other beers that are highly recommended are the Riegeler Landbier (Riegel am Kaiserstuhl), the beers from the Microbrewery Feierling (Freiburg).
