As it happens metropolitan Tajiks like their beer as much as anyone else - it's Islam-lite, so to speak. Sim Sim is the local brew of choice, and it's a refreshing change from the gallons of vodka that most of Central Asia's population are determined to pour down visitors' necks. Get there now...
