Plenty of bars have Happy Hour, even by the river, and the English bars often have a pint of beer priced at 25 dkr. Even cheeper are the little Bodega's or Vaertshuse where they sell bottles for around 15 dkr

I really don't know where your reviewers have been drinking. With the current exchange rate you can't get a "large beer" for less than a fiver and it tends to be less than a pint.

You don't have to search far and wide for a cheap pint of Carlsberg or Tuborg. Even on Strøget on a friday night, we paid £2.35 per pint (and these were in real pint glasses...)
Copenhagen
Carlsburg...Probably the Best Beer in the World. We loved that tag line. Crazy expensive, but tastes pretty good and it's cheaper than wine or hard liquor. In spring of 09 a pint was about $9 USD.
Copenhagen
If you know the right places, you can easily find beer that costs less than £2

Copenhagen Airport
I spent an hour at Kastrup airport last Monday. Thought it was a good time for a Danish beer but what a price: at the airport Sports Bar they took 8 euros for a hal a litre of Carlsberg. Probably the most expensive beer in the world, isn't it something like that they promise in the Carlsberg ad....
Copenhagen airport
