Prices on beer went up all over the world last year due to shortage of hops. Chinese tax on import beer, wine and spirits is huge. Hong kong a kag of Guinness 1095 hkd, China 1590 rmb, these are 30 l kags. Cost about 19 hkd in hk and 28 rmb in china per pint for a bar/pub. So surely a pint in china will end up between 55-65 rmb depending on location and therefore difference in rent. Prices calculated on 57 pints out of a 30l kag with waste.
