This is now the standard price of a pint in Dubai. Some of the higher end hotels are charging 8.38 pounds sterling for a pint of beer. Dubai recently increased taxes on hotels and pretty much everything is going up. The same price is applicable for a shot of tequila costing about 7pounds. This price is standard average in all the main tourist areas of Dubai. Only the cheapest places which are in old areas charge the prices listed on your site.

The Downing 10 in Ra'anana , and all the other bars in town including the jems (boutique beer for 6 E) but there is only one bar the Devinci , over there they sell a pint for 5 Euro (which is also very expensive )
