Atlanta, Georgia
This represents a mean between domestic (Bud/Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light) 16(us)oz pints being around $3.00 and popular imports such as Heineken, Bass, Guiness and Warsteiner being around $4.00. The best regular price deal in Columbia, SC is probably Hoegaarden Wit for $3.75 at Thee Publick House.
Austin, TX
generally Lone Star is $2 and delicious, general domestics are 2.50-3.50, imports are 4.00-4.50
Austin, Tx
I've got 3 PhD engineering students here and we decided that if we're averaging the price at each bar across all bars for Austin, then it's going to be closer to $4. If we're averaging on the number of beers sold, well more are sold at about $2, so the average is probably closer to $3.
By the way, we're available to be hired out as impartial 3rd party beer drinkers if pintprice.com will pay for the expenses. Just contact c-hoy@rocketmail.com

BJ'S, a real classy joint has $0.75 pints on tuesday, $2.50 pitchers, and $5 100 oz beer towers. They have top notch pool tables, great horse hair dart boards, classy people, a great smoke filtration system, great tunes, and people never get in fights. I would recommend it to all who love the feel of European pubs.
NYC
Don't forget that you have to tip $1 for every drink, even if there's no table service. Apparently the tip is for the enormous effort of lifting the full glass from the tap onto the bar. Some places have really cheap deals but will only serve beer from the huge breweries (Bud, Coors, etc.). Strictly for those who prefer quantity to quality. The smaller breweries based in the north east (Chelsea, Magic Hat, Blue Point, Brooklyn, etc.) make some very good beers at reasonable prices. Why don't they export? If you want something European, expect to pay over the odds for it, or wait till you get to Europe.
Oakland CA
It all depends on the bar, some places you can cheap stuff for $2-$3, but the nicer places it can be as much as $6.

If you want something decent to drink, it'll be at least this much. For those of you challenged as far as GBP... just figure its twice what an american dollar is worth. So this equals approximately 4 bucks. Its not a perfect conversion by any means but can be used as a nice rule of thumb. today's exchange rate is 1.00 USD = 0.499607 GBP ... so 1gbp = 2 usd is pretty close to accurate.
Portland, ME
There are a lot of nice pubs in Portland. Several make there own beer and Shipyard Brewery is located in downtown Portland and makes a nice selection of English ales.

Portland, Oregon
One of the best beer towns in the entire USA! Local growers of hops, barley make this place a brewers paradise. You can spend a week going from brewpub to brew pub with each having a variety of beers. Portland takes alot of pride in their pubs and beer. Horsebrass has heritage, New Old Lompoc in NW Portland has great pints for $4.00 per, but there are many "Ale Houses" such as the Concordia Ale House that carry samples from numerous brewers and a few Portland standbys such as Widmer or Full Sail ($4.50 a pint). POrtland may be "Beer town USA"!

Williamsburg
Well, this is Virginia, a Southern state, and we've got this old law on the books that mandates that any place serving alcohol also has to do an ungodly amount of food business. To the tune of $60,000 per annum I believe. So, this means there are no bars per se. You want a beer? You have to go to a restaurant.
Here in Williamsburg I recommend the Corner Pocket. It's a pool hall with a damn good kitchen and a great selection of beer, too. You don't have to shoot pool and you don't have to eat.
Youngstown, OH
Downtown Draught House in Youngstown, OH, has 12 beers on tap starting at $1.75 apiece!
