Brockville
Anyone who complains about Canadian beer either has been hit too many times
in the bean playing goalie without a
facemask, or is just plain retarded.
Here is a challenge for you, my friend, drink nothing but American
swill for say six months, and we'll
see what your opinion is of any beer
from the Great White North is. I'm
willing to bet you'd kill anyone in
your immediate family for a cold one,
hose head.

Montreal
Try the Boréale and Unibroue
Montreal
The price in Montreal would typically be 5-6 dollars. But you have to tip, probably an extra dollar. So the price is nearer 6-7 dollars i.e. 3 GBP. I don't believe the people who quote 2.13.
Montreal
Pints can range anywhere from $3 at campus pubs or during 5-7 deals, to 8 dollars for "upscale" Irish pubs. Typically I go to brewpubs where the cost per pint is $5-$6.
Montreal
all the pubs in the center on montreal Pints of GOOD beer are between 7.50- 8 + tax +tip do your looking at $10 for a beer now, witch sucks being a student and all. Richmond
Not a lot of decent drinking establishments in Richmond, unless you're into the whole Asian scene, in which case there are lots of after hours type clubs where the beer is flat and the smoke is thick....
Richmond
Not sure if the fellow was ever in Richmond. Many good Pubs. Just got to know where to go. The average price for local beer $5.25 micro brewer's $6.00 and the English beer is $6.50 or better. The question is everyone has a different size of pint.

St. John's
George Street in St.John's has about 25 bars/pubs per city block, and due to heavy competition amongst local barkeeps, pints of lager can be purchased for as little as tuppence a glass. You just have to be OK with getting drunk on Tuesday. Party on
Sunshine Village
Worse thing is that it even isn't a pint! They just say it is and charge you anyway!
The Mountie
$2-3 dollar bottles. Draught for pennies a glass if you buy a pitcher. Good country jukebox. New Canadian staff are shocked when you tip. Across the street from expensive Merchandise Building Condos on Dundas (just east of Jarvis). It's a holdover from the days when the area was like Vancouver's downtown eastside. The clientele ranges from toothless crackwhores to upwardly mobile males looking for cheap brewskies before spending bigger bucks where the honeys are.
Tillosnburg
Copper Mug. Nice cider beer
toronto
nice looking women, nice bars weak drinks
Toronto
The local Canadian beer in this country is horrible and costs about 4-6$/pint. I love my country, but we still need to work on our beer.
Toronto
My ass you pay $2.14 for a pint in TO. It's more like $4-7 dollars. Nice place anyway, takes a little getting used to, but once you do you really enjoy living there.

To whomever said "the local Canadian beer in this country is horrible": That is because you are in Toronto.
Toronto
Madison Pub where a pint costs about $6 - large venue, wide variety of beers on tap.
Toronto
Wheat Sheaf Tavern at King and Bathurst. It's the oldest bar in town (1849). Nice building. You can get a pint for about $4. Pitchers are a good price too. Overall friendly wait staff. Eclectic mix of old timers, hipsters, business people, winners, losers, hot chicks, and skanky re-treads. One of my world-wide favourites.
Toronto
Imperial Pub: At the intersection of Dundas and Victoria--one block east of Yonge and Dundas. $4-$6 pints. Great jazz jukebox when it works. The staff is pleasant for the most part. One or two look pretty scary though. The place is either a great party or dead--no way to gauge when. The Library pub upstairs can sometimes have nice looking ladies.
Toronto
I'll mention to drinking holes here: Dora Keogh and South Pacific Chinese restaurant. They are across the street from each other just east of Broadview on Danforth Avenues. Here's your plan: First go for beers and chinese food at South Pacific--$3 domestic bottles and $5.00 for a big meal. Then head over to Dora Keogh for the ladies and great ambiance--$6 plus pints. After South Pacific, you won't need too many $6plus pints. And the ladies all look great from the second you walk in!
Toronto
The Mountie is in Toronto.
Toronto
Premium beers downtown go for closer to $8 a pint
Vancouver
Somebody tell me where beer is $3.91 a pint in Vancouver. Anywhere outside the Downtown Eastside (a hellhole by any standards) is anywhere from $6 to $9.
FYI, stay away from The Lennox on Granville at Robson, they'll charge you $9.95 for an import sleeve (not a full pint)
