Amherst, NS
this thing won't let me put in prices in canadian dollars!

Banff
The average prive is about $5 to $6 for the local brew - Konekee.

Banff
You mean Kokanee? It's around $4.50 for a bottle in my experience, or about $5-6 for a pint.

Banff
Resort prices .. depending on which bar you buy it in can be 8.00 for domestic.

Brockville
Anyone who complains about Canadian beer either has been hit too many times in the bean playing goalie without a facemask, or is just plain retarded. Here is a challenge for you, my friend, drink nothing but American swill for say six months, and we'll see what your opinion is of any beer from the Great White North is. I'm willing to bet you'd kill anyone in your immediate family for a cold one, hose head.

calgary
Whiskey Nightclub (used to be at Cowboys, which has closed and not re-opened yet)

CALGARY
Prices shown here for Albertan cities are way too low. We've got some of the highest booze taxes out there!

Canada
Estimated population 32,475,798. And whoever paid 6.22 sterling for a beer in Vancouver - I have a few cases in my basement if you are interested...

Canada
Who the hell goes to saskatoon....Which one of these things is not like the other?

edmonton
born and raised in canada, lived in several parts... a pint is between 4.50-5.50 depending on import or domestic. the price goes down if you order a pitcher obviously.

edmonton
To damn expensive when you consider the same beer costs about $1.00 a bottle from the liqor store, and they want a tip............hah

Edmonton, AB
Expensive as shit in Rexall Place.

Fort St John, BC
Arrogant Bastard Ale at Fog n' Suds. The waitresses are usually good, but don't go to this town to find a woman!

Fort St. John
Over 21 euros for a brew? Not likely. More like 2.1 for a drink.

Fredericton,Nb
25? 10? ..no i dont think so ... i think they clicked on the wrong currancy and messed up the exchange

Guelph, Ontario
Paid $7-05 for a pint of 80 shilling while watching the Chelsea Man Utd final

Halifax
Went to Julies (a nice pool hall) and paid $5.50 for Rickards. Hotel bar wasthe same price for Keiths.

Hamilton
$2.07 for a pint? IN this city? BS. You'd be blanketed wall to wall in crackheads and welfare daddys. Try $5.50

Kamloops
Bottoms bar and grill- Ring the bell!

Kelowna, BC
Doc Willoughby's downtown has a good selection of Microbrews including Tree IPA. Good bands a few nights a week too.

London
At the bars on a regular night, this is the cost of a bottle of Moosehead (Premium) imports about 20 cents more domestics, 20-40 cents less

London
General price for a tall glass - maybe a little more depending on bar.

Montreal
Sin City of the North! The drinking age starts at 13 and the lap dance lives on!

Montreal
Try the Boréale and Unibroue

Montreal
The price in Montreal would typically be 5-6 dollars. But you have to tip, probably an extra dollar. So the price is nearer 6-7 dollars i.e. 3 GBP. I don't believe the people who quote 2.13.

Montreal
Pints can range anywhere from $3 at campus pubs or during 5-7 deals, to 8 dollars for "upscale" Irish pubs. Typically I go to brewpubs where the cost per pint is $5-$6.

Montreal
all the pubs in the center on montreal Pints of GOOD beer are between 7.50- 8 + tax +tip do your looking at $10 for a beer now, witch sucks being a student and all. There are some shit holes that still charge 5-6 for a pint for domestic. But in the city center they are looking for gold, when it comes to pint prices

Montreal
a good pint will run you about 5.50 at places like brutopia, st elisabeth, mad hatters, foufounes, st sulpice, 3brasseurs .... ect

Montreal
The price of beer at a bar that brew its own beer

Montreal
$8 Dollars plus if you go to to popular areas in the city centre. Move out about 1 km a drink with some more colorful people that are less attractive for about $3 a beer, but your going to need lots of it!

Niagara Falls
Yanks, oldest bar in the Falls, Great Pizza, wings and what they call Mothers cheese cake, not a sweet, but a spicy chip dip, beer $7.00 with tax.

Ottawa
Ha ha what a joke, we have the best beer in the world and it only costs about 2pound 50p a pint at the local pub.

Ottawa
Boags Draught is the best beer in the world found in Tasmania ( Australia ) dont knock before you try

Ottawa
In a pub. From teh beer store you can get beers from a $1/bottle (undrinkable) and up. About $2.00-2.50/bottle for decent stuff.

Ottawa
I think a lot of these entries are extremely innaccurate.

ottawa
Imported can now average $6.50 in many pubs. Guiness is generally more expensive.

Ottawa
Domestic usually about $4.50 - 5.00 CAD Import usually about $5.00 - 6.00 CAD Premium usually about $7.00 - 9.00 CAD

Peterborough
In a pub. Great beer.

Regina
Saskatoon 1.86, yea right. Its about 2.50

Richmond
Not a lot of decent drinking establishments in Richmond, unless you're into the whole Asian scene, in which case there are lots of after hours type clubs where the beer is flat and the smoke is thick....

Richmond
Not sure if the fellow was ever in Richmond. Many good Pubs. Just got to know where to go. The average price for local beer $5.25 micro brewer's $6.00 and the English beer is $6.50 or better. The question is everyone has a different size of pint.

Richmond
Well on No5 rd in the Bog at little burned down establishment called the Kingswood "The Wood" Good people, Cheap CAD $3.25 FULL PINT !

saskatoon
great western the best on offer this amazing praire city

Smiths Falls
4.75$ CAD - Pint at Rob Roy's Irish Pub

St. John's
George Street in St.John's has about 25 bars/pubs per city block, and due to heavy competition amongst local barkeeps, pints of lager can be purchased for as little as tuppence a glass. You just have to be OK with getting drunk on Tuesday. Party on

Sunshine Village
Worse thing is that it even isn't a pint! They just say it is and charge you anyway!

The Mountie
$2-3 dollar bottles. Draught for pennies a glass if you buy a pitcher. Good country jukebox. New Canadian staff are shocked when you tip. Across the street from expensive Merchandise Building Condos on Dundas (just east of Jarvis). It's a holdover from the days when the area was like Vancouver's downtown eastside. The clientele ranges from toothless crackwhores to upwardly mobile males looking for cheap brewskies before spending bigger bucks where the honeys are.

Tillosnburg
Copper Mug. Nice cider beer

toronto
nice looking women, nice bars weak drinks

Toronto
The local Canadian beer in this country is horrible and costs about 4-6$/pint. I love my country, but we still need to work on our beer.

Toronto
My ass you pay $2.14 for a pint in TO. It's more like $4-7 dollars. Nice place anyway, takes a little getting used to, but once you do you really enjoy living there.

Toronto
This is what it really costs.

Toronto
premium

Toronto
To whomever said "the local Canadian beer in this country is horrible": That is because you are in Toronto.

Toronto
Madison Pub where a pint costs about $6 - large venue, wide variety of beers on tap.

Toronto
Wheat Sheaf Tavern at King and Bathurst. It's the oldest bar in town (1849). Nice building. You can get a pint for about $4. Pitchers are a good price too. Overall friendly wait staff. Eclectic mix of old timers, hipsters, business people, winners, losers, hot chicks, and skanky re-treads. One of my world-wide favourites.

Toronto
Imperial Pub: At the intersection of Dundas and Victoria--one block east of Yonge and Dundas. $4-$6 pints. Great jazz jukebox when it works. The staff is pleasant for the most part. One or two look pretty scary though. The place is either a great party or dead--no way to gauge when. The Library pub upstairs can sometimes have nice looking ladies.

Toronto
I'll mention to drinking holes here: Dora Keogh and South Pacific Chinese restaurant. They are across the street from each other just east of Broadview on Danforth Avenues. Here's your plan: First go for beers and chinese food at South Pacific--$3 domestic bottles and $5.00 for a big meal. Then head over to Dora Keogh for the ladies and great ambiance--$6 plus pints. After South Pacific, you won't need too many $6plus pints. And the ladies all look great from the second you walk in!

Toronto
The Mountie is in Toronto.

Toronto
Premium beers downtown go for closer to $8 a pint

Vancouver
Somebody tell me where beer is $3.91 a pint in Vancouver. Anywhere outside the Downtown Eastside (a hellhole by any standards) is anywhere from $6 to $9. FYI, stay away from The Lennox on Granville at Robson, they'll charge you $9.95 for an import sleeve (not a full pint)

VANCOUVER
HOTEL GUINNESS..WITH TAX...9.00 TO 10.00 CDN.

Vancouver
Taylors Crossing in North Vancouver...$3.75 a sleeve

Victoria
10 bucks for a pint? That's just making us look bad. I think he meant a pitcher.

Victoria
Good brews at local brewpubs Canoe, Swans & Spinnakers. All reasonably priced.

Waterdown
tell you about what? It's BEER!

White Rock
Pint at Sawbucks, most days.

Whitehorse
Kopper King

Winnipeg
$3-4.50 at nearly every bar and all the Canadinns bars (main chain of clubs)
