Reykjavik
Beer is very, very expensive in Iceland. Icelanders buy beer in a special liquor store, drink it at home, then go to the pubs where the beer is almost three times the price in the liquor store.

Reykjavík

Reykjavik
Expensive but a pint in the sunshine at 66 degrees north - not bad!

Reykjavik
Beer is a bit cheaper now with the fall of the Icelandic currency

Reykjavik
A couple of bars in the center city averaged 600-700ISK a pint. The Gull is no good. Stick to the Viking for local brew!

Reykjavik
Highlander, Dubliner and Celtic Cross in central Reykjavik were charging 500 ISK (about £3.40) for a local brew. Most I paid was 600 ISK, lowest was 450 in Belly's. Takk fyrir!

Reykjavik
Just back from Reykjavik, it was not as expensive as we thought it would be. Amazing beautiful place and the people were lovely. Paid 500 kron for a pink of Viking, about £3.50. Normal price is about 700 kron. Go visit! Emma

Reykjavik
Visit Iceland, not as expensive as you would think, beautiful place with lovely people.

Price above is the average for a pint at most bars and restaurants in the city centre. Be prepared to pay more for bottled beers or imports. Most I payed was 900ISK for a 330ml bottled stout.

Reykjavik
Crane

Reykjavík
Normal price for a large pint in Reykjavik (capital city of Iceland) is 6 or 6.50 usd. You can find cheaper beers avery now and a then but you could also stumble into place that sells it for 7usd. We mostly drink lokal made beers but we also have couple of american brands and europien. 6-pack out of a liquar-store (only the gov can operate one) is going for around 17.50USD

Reykjavik
Tuborg on draft is the most popular imported beer in Iceland. Icelandic beer is usually the same price. Bottled beer is more expensive

Reykyavic
These people must be talking about another country called Iceland! Went to Reykjavic for new year 2012 and it was around 1100 Kr everywhere, about 7-8 pounds a pint, ridiculously expensive and all the bars were closed (apart from the English Pub...)

Ryekjavik
Half decent beer... mental people and nightlife that never seems to end.

Salem, Or
At the Ram in Salem you can get a frosty mug of blonde and stare at Bach's fun bags
