A visit to Ofie Delight is absolutely worthwile. Besides good mood and fine food, the prices are affordable. A meal is aroud $2.50 and beer $1 per pint. It is located near Taifa Junction. Follow N6 from Achimota towards Kumasi. Turn right when Rocksters is on your left side.

a very big, rather safe city with a lot of bars and nightclubs. The prices listed here are wrong. In most common bars a large (63cl) beer costs like 1$ or less. Only in posh nightclubs or the bars of big hotels you pay a lot more.

Club beats Star for taste but make sure that it is really cold otherwise it doesn't teste too good. Cheap bars sell it for 2 to 3 cedis for a 660ml bottle which is 1 GBP ish so it's cheap. Even in "posh" hotels it still isn't that pricey. Just pack your deet spray and watch out for the symptoms of malaria.
Cape Coast
The best place to relax for few days is Ellis Hideout in Butre beach. Beer in Ghana is min 0,7 EUR and max 1 EUR = 1,5 $, almost everywhere!

Prampram beach (Greater Accra)
There is a fantastic little cafe bar directly facing the beach. Known by the few who know it exists as The Swedish Bar (as it is owned by a Swedish gentleman called Kent) All the Ghanain beers are stocked and you would struggle to pay a pound for any of them. Lots of cold Club beer and the Atlantic breakers - heaven!
